The Samsung CLP-300N is the network ready colour laser printer aim to bring the benefits of a laser printer to the small business and home user. It is officially the smallest colour laser printer in the world and has won numerous awards for design but the real test is weather people can afford to run it. Samsung CLP-300 toner cartridges are slightly different from your usually Samsung toner cartridges in both shape and also the amount they print. The colour printer cartridges yield 1,000 each and the black yields slight more with 2,000 pages and this gives the printer a cost per page of 2p for black and 9p for colour which is pretty reasonable for a budget printer. Another important factor of a laser printer is print speed and this is not the CLP-300n’s strongest point, while mono print speeds are reasonable at 16 pages per minute colour printing is much slower with a poor 4ppm. For this reason as well as the small 150 sheet capacity paper tray make the CLP-300n not best suited for heavy print runs when it comes to colour printing at least. The quality of print produce is surprisingly good from the clp-300n, it performs well printing a wide range of documents both black and colour on various types of paper media.
